In the Cornish city of Truro during the late 1880's, a master baker named John Cooper Furniss was making his celebrated Fairings, delicious gingerbreads and other high class confectionery. Today, the company he founded closely follows some of the original recipes producing traditional biscuits with the same love and care as Mr Furniss did himself. The range now includes this distinctive shortbread made with the Cornish clotted cream, delicious with tea or coffee and perfect with fruit or ice cream.
